Easter

The day before Easter we colored eggs. The kids loved this. Each year they get more and more creative with what they color on their eggs before putting them in the dye. They loved seeing how it would come out.

Hallee was so proud of herself. Kyle had a mountain dew on the counter and while everyone was coloring eggs, she moved the chair and took possession of the pop.

On Easter morning, the Easter Bunny leaves a trail of candy though out the house and it leads to their baskets. He also loves to bounce really high and hide candy where the kids cannot reach.

While Kennady and Jaxson are finding the candy, Hallee figures she can just go around and take it out of their baskets.

And then shoves it in her mouth as fast as she can.

The Easter Bunny brought the kids a WII this year along with their Easter church clothes.

Easter egg hunt over at my mom's.

What a handsome little boy.

Kennady was so excited to have a fancy, matching dress with Hallee.

I think they clean up real nice.

Disney on Ice

We went to Disney on Ice with all of Kyle's family. We had so much fun. Kennady and Hallee dressed up to go. They looked so cute. We got to meet Tiana from the Princess and the Frog and Cinderella. Jaxson said that the CARS were the best and Kennady said that Tinkerbelle was the best. I guess there was something there for all.

Girls

Hallee is such a silly girl. She is always smiling and doing something to make others laugh. She is such a nice little girl.

Kennady had silly hat and sock day at school for Dr. Suess week. She is really enjoying school and getting involved with all the activities.

We had to take a close up of Kennady without her 2 front teeth. One is growing in and we wish the other one would.

Brianna

My sister Emily and her new little baby Brianna were able to come to Utah for our Great Grandma Napier's funeral. My kids were so excited to see Brianna. Kennady just wanted to hold her and hold her and hold her.

Hallee's New Bed

Hallee has decided that she did not like her crib any longer and to save my sanity we tried the toddler bed. Hallee was really excited to have a new bed. It took her a few nights to get used to it, but now she is doing great.

Kennady and Jaxson thought the bed was so cute. I think they were as excited as Hallee.

Date Night

In January we teamed up with the Forsberg family and the Gardner family and started a date night group. Kyle and I babysit 9 kids (including our 3) once a month and then in return we get to go out on a date 2 times during the month. We have had so much fun doing this and have become great friends with these families. Our kids LOVE being able to have friends come over and being able to go over to their houses. We even have fun when it is our turn to babysit.

CHRISTMAS

We have been very blessed. Kyle was able to get a job right before Christmas. We are so grateful that he is working again. We were able to have a nice Christmas and spend lots of time with family. Apparently, we didn't take very many pictures this year, but I blame Hallee. She decided that she was so excited for Christmas at a year old that she didn't go to sleep until 4 in the morning and then Kennady and Jaxson got up at 6! Needless to say, Kyle and I were a little tired on Christmas day. Hallee was all smiles. Figures!!

Kennady and Hallee in their Christmas outfiits.

The picture that we should have gotten that didn't get taken was when we were over at Jeani and Ernie's, Hallee got into the printer ink. She had it on her tongue, her hands, her face, and her clothes. At least we have the memories!

Christmas Eve

We had a very busy Christmas Eve. We started out by making sugar cookies for Santa. We had a good time. But it was very serious business.

Then we opened up sibling gifts. We had the kids draw names and then they got to go and pick something out for whoever they got.

After we opened up our jammies, we headed over to Grandma Lu's for our Christmas Eve program.
